WriteOn – Terms of Use
1) ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing or using WriteOn (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Service.
2) WHAT WRITEON IS
WriteOn is an online service made of individually identified spaces. Users can explore the available sectors, choose spaces, write content, keep drafts private and publish content when they are ready.
Other users may read published content and, where available, comment on or react to it.
3) ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT
You must be at least 16 years old, or meet the minimum age required by applicable law in your country, to use WriteOn.
Access to account features uses a temporary verification code sent to your email address. You are responsible for providing an email address you are authorised to use and for protecting access to that email account and to your authenticated WriteOn session.
Each registered user receives a unique Write ID. Your alias does not need to be unique, but your Write ID uniquely identifies your WriteOn account.
4) SPACES
Available spaces may be taken by registered users on a first-available basis. A space that has already been taken by another user cannot be claimed by you.
WriteOn may apply limits to the number of spaces that a user can hold. The current Service may limit each account to a maximum of three spaces. This limit may change as the Service evolves.
Taking a space gives you the right to use that space within WriteOn under these Terms. It does not create ownership of any domain, database record, software component or other property of the Service.
5) PRIVATE AND PUBLIC CONTENT
You may save content in your space as a private draft. Private drafts are not visible to other WriteOn users.
Content becomes publicly visible only when you choose to publish it. Once published, it may be read by other users and may receive comments or reactions.
“Private” refers to visibility to other users. Private drafts are stored by the Service and may be processed where technically necessary to operate, secure, maintain or provide WriteOn, as further described in the Privacy Policy.
6) ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to use WriteOn to:
- violate applicable law or the rights of another person;
- publish unlawful, threatening, abusive or otherwise prohibited content;
- impersonate another person or falsely represent your identity or affiliation;
- harass, threaten, exploit or deliberately target other users;
- publish personal or confidential information about another person without a lawful basis;
- send spam, repetitive submissions, malicious links or automated unwanted content;
- upload or distribute malware or other harmful code;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, data, systems or spaces;
- circumvent technical limits, security measures or moderation controls;
- interfere with or intentionally disrupt the operation of the Service.
7) COMMENTS AND REACTIONS
Comments and reactions are intended to allow users to interact with published content. Comments must comply with the same acceptable-use rules that apply to published content.
The owner of a space does not acquire ownership of comments written by other users. WriteOn may remove comments or other interactions where necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or operate the Service.
8) CONTENT MODERATION
WriteOn may use automated, technical and, where appropriate, AI-assisted checks on content submitted for public publication or interaction. These checks are intended to reduce spam, abuse and content that cannot be accepted under these Terms.
WriteOn may reject publication, remove public content, remove comments, restrict functionality or take other reasonable measures when content or behaviour violates these Terms or creates a security or legal risk.
Automated systems are not perfect. If you believe content has been restricted incorrectly, you may contact support@writeon.space.
9) USER CONTENT
You retain your rights in the original content you create.
By storing or publishing content through WriteOn, you grant the Service a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce and, for published content, display that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain and operate WriteOn.
You are responsible for the content you submit and must have the rights necessary to submit and publish it.
10) INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The WriteOn name, logos, software, design, interface, database structure and other Service materials, excluding user-created content, are protected by applicable intellectual property rights and remain the property of Nespoli Enzo or the relevant licensors.
Except where permitted by law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, decompile, reverse engineer or commercially exploit the Service without prior authorisation.
11) THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
WriteOn may rely on third-party services for functions such as hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, security or content moderation.
The availability of third-party services is outside our direct control. We are not responsible for interruptions caused exclusively by external providers beyond our reasonable control, subject to rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12) PRIVACY
The processing of personal data is described in the WriteOn Privacy Policy. The Data Controller is Nespoli Enzo. Your privacy and GDPR rights are described in that Policy.
13) SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
WriteOn is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Features may be changed, suspended or discontinued where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance or development of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
14) SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access to WriteOn where a user materially or repeatedly violates these Terms, uses the Service unlawfully, threatens the security of the Service or other users, or where action is reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations.
Where appropriate and reasonably possible, the measure taken will be proportionate to the nature and seriousness of the issue.
Users may stop using WriteOn at any time and may request deletion of personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
15) CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to WriteOn, applicable law or the way the Service operates. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by other reasonable means where appropriate.
The “Last updated” date indicates when these Terms were most recently revised.
16) GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer-protection rules and the jurisdiction provided by applicable law remain unaffected. In other cases, the competent court is Arezzo, Italy.
17) MISCELLANEOUS
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
Failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, govern your use of the WriteOn Service.
18) CONTACTS
For questions, support requests or legal notices, contact support@writeon.space or write to Via San Pio da Pietralcina, 27 – Monte San Savino (AR) – Italy.
